During his undergraduate education, he completed internship programs at the Green Crescent Counseling Center and the adult psychiatry service of Arnavutköy State Hospital.
He is currently enrolled in Ibn Haldun University Clinical Psychology Integrated Doctoral Program (a special program where master's and doctoral programs are combined) and is also working as a research and teaching assistant at the university.
His academic interests focus on trauma and dissociation and he is active in the Trauma and Resilience lab. He speaks fluent English and intermediate Arabic.
