She completed her undergraduate studies in psychology at the University of Vienna, Austria, in 2010, followed by a master's degree in clinical psychology. While working on her thesis, she served as an assistant at the Department of Psychology at the University of Vienna. She received psychotherapy training at an institute affiliated with a Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy school in Germany. As part of her psychotherapy training at the same institute, she completed her personal therapy process and undertook a practical therapy internship in the depression unit of a clinic in Germany. Between 2012 and 2016, she continued her academic career as a "research assistant" at the Department of Psychology at Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany. In 2016, she completed her PhD at the same university and began teaching as a lecturer in the psychology department.

After returning to Turkey, she completed additional training from the Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies Association, bringing her total psychotherapy training hours, including those in Germany and Turkey, to over 500 hours. Additionally, she received EMDR Therapy Training from the Behavioral Sciences Institute and holds the title of Level 2 "EMDR Therapist."

Since 2017, she has been serving as a faculty member at Ibn Haldun University and is also the Director of the Psychotherapy Application and Research Center (İPAM) and a member of the Board of Directors. She speaks English and German fluently.
