Dr Taha completed his first Master's degree in Sociology at Istanbul University as a Tübitak Domestic Scholar, and his second Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Okan University. In 2022, he received his doctorate degree from Hasan Kalyoncu University, Department of Clinical Psychology. He continues to serve as the president of the Psychology and Psychotherapy Research Association, which he founded with his colleagues in the same year.
Between 2010 and 2019, he worked as a clinical psychologist & psychotherapist in the Psychology Unit of Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Mental Health and Diseases. Between 2018 and 2023, he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in the Psychology departments of Hasan Kalyoncu University, Sabahattin Zaim University and Ibn Haldun University.
He received cognitive behavioral psychotherapy training and was certified as a "Cognitive Therapist" by the Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT). Additionally, he is a member of the European Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT), American Psychological Association, Academy of Cognitive Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies Association (BDPD) and Turkish Psychologists Association.
In addition to the fields of OCD, Trauma, Family and Couple Therapies, he continues his studies on the philosophical foundations of psychology and psychotherapy, and the relationship between the theoretical and practical sources of the Islamic tradition of thought with modern psychology and psychotherapy. He is fluent in English.
He has 6 internationally published papers and 4 articles published in national journals. He currently works as a lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Ibn Haldun University and serves as the Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology.
