She completed Boğaziçi University Psychology Department as a TÜBİTAK Domestic Undergraduate Scholar. She did her clinical internship at Bakırköy Mental and Neurological Diseases Gündüz Hospital. After graduation, she worked as a research assistant in the laboratory at the University of Delaware within the scope of the "Attachment-Based Family Therapy for Suicidal Ideation" project. Afterwards, she studied Developmental Psychopathology at the New School University and completed her master's degree in Psychology. She completed her second master's degree in the Clinical Psychology program of Ibn Haldun University. She successfully completed over 600 hours of clinical internship within the scope of the program and wrote her master's thesis on the subject of psychological resilience in Syrian refugee adolescents.
Currently, she continues the Ibn Haldun University Clinical Psychology PhD program as a TÜBİTAK Domestic PhD Scholar. She has completed over 1200 hours of internship obligations within the scope of her doctorate and is in the thesis phase. Her academic interests include resilience, parenting, culture and attachment.
She works clinically with children, young people and their families. The main method she uses in individual therapy is Cognitive Behavioral therapy, but she also benefits from different therapy approaches. She continues to meet with children mainly through Child Centered Play Therapy. She uses the Structural Family therapy approach in family interviews. She works also as a parent consultant.
