During his undergraduate studies, he did an internship in the psychosocial support unit of the Turkish Red Crescent. After graduation, he provided counseling services to refugees and asylum seekers within the scope of psychosocial support at the Association for Assistance with Refugees and Asylum Seekers (MSYD-ASRA) for 6 months.

He completed his Master's degree with his thesis on "Hearing Voices and Differential Diagnosis" at the Department of Clinical Psychology at Ibn Haldun University and is currently in the thesis phase of his doctoral program. He is researching dissociative identity disorder in his doctoral thesis. His academic interests include trauma, dissociation, OCD and its treatment.

He worked as a clinical psychologist for 8 months at Adıyaman Psychotherapy Center, which was established in Adıyaman after the earthquake centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023. He is also a member of the Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies Association (BDPD). He speaks advanced English.
