Psychologist Elif AKYÜZ

During her undergraduate studies, she did an internship at the Turkish Red Crescent for 2 years and worked with the families of people diagnosed with schizophrenia in her graduation thesis. She is currently writing her thesis at Ibn Haldun University Clinical Psychology Integrated Doctorate Program. In her thesis, she is conducting studies on core beliefs (schemas). Her academic interests include trauma, psychological resilience, core beliefs (schemas) and cognitive behavioral therapy.

Following the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş on February 6 2023, she worked as a Clinical Psychologist for 6 months at Adıyaman Psychotherapy Center, which was co-founded by Ibn Haldun University.
