She completed her undergraduate education in psychology with high honors at Middle East Technical University (METU). During her undergraduate years, she took part in various studies at METU Child-Adolescent Development Laboratory and did a short-term judicial internship at Ankara Probation Directorate. She completed her compulsory undergraduate internship at Umut Psychology, Education and Psychotherapy Center, a private clinic in Ankara.
Then, she started the Clinical Psychology Integrated Doctorate program at Ibn Haldun University with an academic success scholarship and continues her education as a TÜBİTAK Domestic Doctoral Scholar. She has completed half of his 1800-hour internship obligations within the scope of integrated doctorate and is at the qualification stage.
Her academic interests include contemplation, mindfulness, Islamic-based psychology and psychotherapy. Apart from her doctoral studies, she is involved in various studies at the Psychology in Islamic Thought Platform and works on ways to approach psychology from both modern and Islamic perspectives.
She works with adolescents and adults in the clinical field. The main methods she uses in his therapy sessions are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy (TIIP). However, in addition to these, she also benefits from different therapy approaches. She continues to actively see clients under supervision at Ibn Haldun University Psychotherapy Application and Research Center (IPAM).
