Zeynep took part in various studies at METU Child-Adolescent Development Laboratory. She did an internship at Ankara Probation Directorate and Umut Psychology Training and Psychotherapy Center. She is currently writing her thesis at Ibn Haldun University Clinical Psychology Integrated Doctoral Program (a special program where master's and doctoral programs are carried out together). In her thesis, she is conducting research on "Developing a contemplation intervention program and measuring the effectiveness of this program in reducing stress levels of university students." Her academic interests include contemplation, mindfulness, Islamic-based psychology and psychotherapy. Additionally, she participates in studies at the Psychology in Islamic Thought Platform and works on ways to approach psychology from both a modern and Islamic perspective. She also speaks advanced English and intermediate Arabic.
