We congratulate Zeynep Züleyha Kablama Yardım, a therapist at our İPAM center, on being awarded the congress scholarship granted by the Turkish Association for Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies (BDPD). With this scholarship, Zeynep Züleyha will present her study, titled "Panic Disorder or Frontal Lobe Tumor? A Case of Organic Etiology Mimicking Dissociative Panic Attacks and Cognitive-Behavioral Formulation," conducted under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Hasan Turan Karatepe, as a poster at the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) 2026 Congress, to be held in Brussels this September.
This is not the first such achievement for us! In 2024, at the EABCT Congress held in Belgrade, the same scholarship was won by our therapists Mehmed Seyda Tepedelen and Muhammed Furkan Cinisli. Tepedelen presented his study, "CBT via Videoconferencing for Youths in COVID Era: Outcomes on Anxiety and Depression Symptoms," carried out within the scope of the ISTKA Project led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Burcu Uysal, while Cinisli presented his study, "The Impact of Integrated Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Spiritual Intervention on Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in Sexual Abuse Survivors: A Case Study," conducted under the supervision of Dr. Taha Burak Toprak.
We wish Zeynep every success at EABCT 2026!
