Psychologist Fatma İGDECİ




She was born in Istanbul in 1988. After completing her high school education at Çınar College, she received her undergraduate education in psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2010. She graduated from Istanbul Ticaret University Applied Psychology master's program in 2012.

Since her graduation, she has done internships in institutions such as Vakıf Gureba Hospital, Zeytinburnu Balıklı Greek Hospital, Bakırköy Psychiatric and Neurological Diseases Hospital. She did voluntary work in various mutual aid and solidarity associations. She took administrative positions in some institutions and organizations. Between 2010 and 2014, she conducted individual therapies with children, adolescents and adults at the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Women's and Family Health Center. She continues to see clients at Ibn Haldun University Psychotherapy Application and Research Center (IPAM), which she started in 2019.

In her professional life, she contributes to the field with seminars and professional articles, as well as therapy studies. She continues her psychotherapy work with children, adolescents, adults and families. Fatma İgdeci, who continues her studies, sessions and training, is married and the mother of two children.

She received training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Children, Child-Centered Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Strategic Family Therapy and Gestalt Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy. In addition, she applies Child Assessment Tests, Peabody Picture Word Recognition Test, Picture Drawing Tests, Bender Gestalt Visual Motor Perception Test, Beier Sentence Completion Test, Mood State Scales and Denver II Developmental Screening Test.
