Psychologist Meryem Söğüt KAHRAMANLAR

She graduated from Boğaziçi University Psychological Counseling and Guidance Undergraduate Program as the top student of her department. Then, she completed her master's degree at Koç University Psychology Department with a full scholarship. She is currently continuing the Ibn Haldun University Clinical Psychology PhD program as a TÜBİTAK Domestic PhD Scholar. She has completed over 1200 hours of internship obligations within the scope of her doctorate and is in the thesis phase. As her thesis topic, our expert investigates the contextual factors that determine the effectiveness/functionality of cognitive restructuring, an emotion regulation method, on depression and anxiety. She provides therapy services to children, adolescents and adult clients aged 10 and over. She is a certified CAS Cognitive Assessment Test practitioner. With this test, which can be applied to ages 5-17, we can gain insight into situations that negatively affect learning, such as attention and memory problems, learning disabilities, and impulsivity.
