During her undergraduate education, she did a 1-year psychological counseling and guidance internship at high school level simultaneously in different schools. Between 2016 and 2019, she worked as a guidance counselor at the secondary and high school levels in a private school. Between 2020-2021, she worked as a developmental psychologist within the Green Crescent in the development of the Turkiye Addiction Response Intervention program. She is currently writing her thesis in the Clinical Psychology PhD program at Ibn Haldun University. In her thesis, she is investigating the contextual factors that determine the effectiveness/functionality of cognitive restructuring, an emotion regulation method, on depression and anxiety. Transdiagnostic risk factors in psychopathologies, emotional regulation and executive functioning are among her academic interests. She also speaks advanced English and intermediate Korean. She is a certified Cognitive Assessment System (CAS) tester.
