In collaboration with the Human Resources Department of Ibn Haldun University and the Psychotherapy Practice and Research Center (IPAM), a seminar on “Personal Awareness and Psychological Resilience” was organized to support employees in strengthening their psychological resilience in both personal and professional life.
The seminar was held on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at the Şaban Teoman Duralı Conference Hall, attracting significant interest from university staff.
The opening speech was delivered by IPAM Deputy Director Kübra Kayaokay. In her remarks, Kayaokay highlighted that since its establishment in 2018, IPAM has not only provided therapy services with its team of 30 therapists and 8 supervisors but has also conducted trainings, seminars, and projects aimed at raising societal awareness.
Following this, Family Counselor and Psychologist Belkıs Ertürk delivered a comprehensive presentation on personal awareness and psychological resilience. The presentation covered strategies for self-understanding, emotional awareness, stress management, and the effective use of internal resources. It also addressed the impact of attachment styles on professional and personal life, factors that enhance psychological resilience, and practical strategies for cultivating awareness in daily life.
At the conclusion of the seminar, participants gained new perspectives and insights, leaving the program with enhanced skills to manage stress and strengthen their psychological resilience.
